I don't know how many times I've sat in meetings where a site launch has been delayed because an image doesn't look right or a font isn't what the designer specified. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Get your site up as quickly as possible. Fix the typos later. It will take several weeks before your pages of content show up in search engine results anyway. Get your content up before your competitors do.

Make it accessible. Try using your site with flash and javascript turned off. Try using your site on a slow connection. Try using your site on a mobile phone.

Make it load fast. People are impatient.
